Neville didn’t go out much – only to see his family and children. His granddaughter was going away for a few weeks and was concerned he wouldn’t see anyone. So, she asked Timebank to help. Two members spent time with him.

Sally was a really active member of the Timebank community accruing loads of hours. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with cancer. She was able to use all her hours (and people wanted to help her) picking up children, cleaning her house and making meals whilst she was undergoing treatment. She didn’t feel like she was receiving charity, having earned the hours
Steve had a motorcycle accident, broke his back and became paraplegic in his 20’s. Now in his 50’s, he was depressed and knew very few people where he lived. He had not been out socially for 10 years. Through the Timebank , he made a few requests, making cups of tea for those people who did some gardening for him
